Hi everybody! Getting really brave after joining this group last summer, and have ordered a new liner to put in our 18x33 oval Morada above ground pool. Late this afternoon, I got a call that the skimmer is backordered and not arriving for 5 weeks, so I need to find another option. From what I've read, some of the higher end brands are a little different, but most others are standard. I had a quote from the pool store that sold and installed the pool for a Kokido K002WBX/G widemouth skimmer. The other vendor sending the liner was going to sell me a Custom Molded Products part number 25511-000-900. I asked if they had an alternative and they provided the Hayward SP1091WM. Did some of my own digging and found that part number does indeed cross to a Hayward SP1091WM.
So my questions are:
1. should I be OK getting this Hayward skimmer for my pool? Shook me up when the ETA for the liner was 3 days but the skimmer was JUNE 26th!
2. do all skimmers come as a complete kit?
3. anybody wanna come over for a liner installation party?
