I noticed that my pool is missing a thin strip of the pebbletec finish at the tile line. can this just be caulked, and if so, any recommendation as to type of caulk. I suspect that the water flow was pushing my acid in the same spot over and over and maybe just got too much in this area. its like a couple inches long by maybe 1-2 cm in width if that makes sense.

thanks

Post pics of the problem area.

How old is your plaster job?

Pool was completed late 2009. Pic attached. It is still closed and I plan on opening in the next week. Apparently we have a few more cold days coming. Water temp is about 57 so getting close to the opening.

I don't know why you got a bit of erosion on the surface of the PebbleTec but it looks like you have plenty of plaster still on that area.

I would not try and fix it. Anything you do will look worse and may not adhere properly.
