Missing Leg Support Strap for u-leg intex 12x24x52

Hi I’ve seen on here that some people have used a ratchet strap when the piece of the leg restraint strap is ripped (the part that hooks onto the leg and then the flap under the pool). Does anyone have advice on how to do this until we get a replacement strap? adding pic in a minute
