Material for mat beside hot tub recommendation

I am looking to purchase a mat beside my hot tub to the right side of the picture below. Does anyone have a recommendation for a mat or material that would be best to prevent mold / mildew / pests?

I was in Costco today and they have an interlocking floor PVC textured tile pack that will do a 5X5 area, that may work. Be sure whatever you use does not get slippery when wet. How about using pavers like flat sandstone, flagstone, textured concrete or brick with pea gravel in between for drainage.
