Mat for sunshelf?

I'm doing my arthritis physical therapy in the pool. There are some exercises that I would like do on the sunshelf. Is there an equivalent of a yoga mat that wouldn't float that I could use on the sunshelf?

I was thinking of a tub mat.

We had a tub mat under the lets of our ladder and it stayed down pretty good. BUT know you do need to take it up often to keep stuff from getting under there and helping yuckies grow.
