I do my best with our pool, but springtime weather here in NorCal has given me algae problems when I’ve gotten behind. I had our pool dialed in in late April but high winds in May overwhelmed my vacuum and I got busy at work and well… I blew it. The pool had a massive algae bloom. This happens to me almost every year but this year there’s a huge difference. There are huge areas where the algae doesn’t brush off. Even a stiff wire brush does nothing. This has never happened before and so I didn’t know it was a possible outcome or I’d have been far more diligent.
I know you guys want my numbers and I’ll get them to you when I get home from work tonight. But Very basically is there any way out of this kind of staining that doesn’t involve a full resurfacing? Is there any way out of this that doesn’t involve draining the pool?
