Main drain leak?

BOYNTON BEACH
I have an inground cement/diamond bright pool
Over 6 mos, the pool has gone dry.
(I stopped adding water) and stopped running the pump.
Since it leaked/evaporated all the way dry, my guess is a main drain leak.
Before I spend $300 on leak detection co, what can I do to isolate the problem?
Thanks, Bob

Welcome to the forum!

Can you put what State, Country, or Province 'Boynton Beach' is in?

As your pool is drained, you can plug the main drain outlet in the pool and then pressure test were the line comes to your equipment pad.

If you are in an area that gets much rain or you have a shallow water table, you are in grave danger of the pool popping out of the ground. That is catastrophic. It would be best to get the pool filled with water ASAP.

Take care.
