Greetings Everyone,
Our pool maintenance company came to diagnose why our control panel was completely off. They diagnosed a faulty circuit board and quoted me around $1,600 to replace it. Well, I found it for under $500 (Hayward GLX-PCB-BRO) and wondering if I can replace it myself. They quoted $275 labor to install it, or they'll charge me a $135 diagnostic fee. Is it worth the savings to try it myself? I'm assuming it's as simple as:
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Alon

Is it worth the savings to try it myself? I'm assuming it's as simple as:
- Turn off power to the system
- Take pictures of where everything is connected
- Install new board
- Turn on power
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
