My pool is in ground and in North Texas. It is about 14;000 gallons. The CYA is 180. I added Bio Active this past Saturday. The water is not as cloudy now. I have added fresh water, have not drained. Chlorine is low, algae is present. Would adding Borax affect the Bio Active?

Bioactive does not work to reduce CYA. We have 100s of thread with failure.
The only way to reduce CYA is exchanging Water.
At CYA 180, you will need to exchange about 75% of your water.
How are you testing? You really need a good test kit. Link-->Test Kits Compared
Get your kit ordered today. Assuming your CYA is high, add 5ppm of liquid chlorine a day until your test kit arrives.
