If your pool was not green, you would not be having this issue..

Keep in mind that the filter is doing its job.. As your pool becomes more and more clear, the time between backwashings will become longer and longer..

ok. I made some progress. Fixed the pool heater connection and installed the hayward in line chlorinator. Nothing is leaking.
Pressure is ok. Pool is not green anymore, the water is almost clear.

Results from the pool store. I have a pool kit but it is at the other house.
Ph is 7.7
Alkalinity is 70
Hardness is 75
Stabilizer is 0

I need to lower ph first. Is that correct? Pool is irregular shape. Approximately 30K gallons.
I have muriatic acid. It says 1 qt for 25K size pool if ph is 7.6 to 7.8. What is the best way to add it to the pool?

Mix with water and add it to the deep end?
