Low salt level

Hello everyone. I have a 9,000 gallon pool. My IntelliChlor is showing low salt level and the ScreenLogic app says the salt level is at 2650ppm. I added a 40 pound bag of salt. How fast should I see the PPM increase? My pump has been running for about 5 hours and the salt level has not increased.

The IntelliChlor only checks salt at power up and then every 12 hours...

Reboot it and see what you get..

Restarting it worked! The reading is now at 3200ppm. Thank you.

Hey 77 !!! Going forward, know that this can cause issues after big rains. If the pump is scheduled to turn on sucking in dillited rain water from the top, It will read low salt and not come on for 12 hours at the next self check. Many people can lose a full days worth of FC production who aren’t running 24/7. File that one under ‘now you know’.
