Low flow at pump Clogged filters??

Hi guys. First off thanks in advance for any and all help.

Trying to diagnose a low flow at the pump. I am thinking the filters may need to be repalced. Is there a way I can test this by removing the filters totally from the unit and letting it run? If it runs optimally with full pressure can I suggest that the filters need to be replaced? Here is some back info.

Sta Rite System 3 filter
Filters 3 replaced in 2015
Cleaned filters 2 per year at local pool store in acid tank
Hayward SVRS 3400 pump

Exactly.

With no resistance other than the pipes, you'll quickly see if the restriction is inside the filter or not,
