Jandy PHPF1.0 Won't Prime

Hi there,

My Jandy PHPF1.0 will not prime. I'm not sure how old the pump is, but at least 5 years old. I have cleared the pump filters, skimmer baskets, changed the capacitor, cleaned the filters on the Sta Rite and the pump is still not priming at a PSI above 10. What do you suggest? Thanks,

Please let me know what I can do. Temps are going to get colder and not sure if it’s best to put in service mode or run at low psi. Thanks

I don’t understand the low PSI.

If you have pressure then you have flow from the pump.

The pump is only half primed. Very little water is flowing.
