I am still looking for a new Mesh Pool cover. Does anyone have a point of view as between Loop-Loc's "super dense" mesh vs their Loop-Loc's "aqua-xtreme" mesh?

Andy I don't know as I don't close but I can give you a bump to see if any new eyes sees this.
Was going to ask the same the. The aqua-xtreme appears to be new (2017) and give best of both worlds. 50% lighter than solid, blocking more light than traditional mesh, but still lets water pass through.
For me it's a 16% cost increase.. I was hoping someone knew if it was worth it. I guess the normal negatives of solid, weight and pump on top are gone... But is the regular mesh good enough?

You can always chance it with a less dense mesh. But I never would. We went with the densest Merlin mesh and are quite happy with it. 5 for 5 opening clear. But it’s not just the cover but the timing of closing/opening.
Yeah, my quote is for your standard looploc vs the latest and greatest. I opted for tried and true. Not enough data to justify spending more.
