I'm in the process of adding in a heat pump next to my pump and filter. I have to run conduit for the heat pump electrical feed and I'm looking for ideas so that I can see what an ideal setup looks like. For example, for the electrical, do you all just have a post for the outlet, or do you have a more modern approach?

I was thinking about some sort of plywood attached to a post, so that in the future, I can add the automation units but still not sure.
If you can post a photo of your setup, I would really appreciate it!

Ah! Perfect! Thanks. Didn't realize it was called a "pad". Thank you!

Mine might be in their somewhere, but I like the equipment panel wall I built. The first one shows the back side which holds the light junction box and some misc. hooks. The second one shows most of the front. It contains a hose reel, two dimmer light switches for pole lights (also controlled by automation), the autocover switch, and the automation control panel. It is mostly hidden by the low shed and planters as the grass gets taller. I really like the solidity of it versus stuff hanging on poles or something flimsy. Obviously I didn't have a house handy to mount things on. If I ever got a heater, it would go on the concrete to the left of the equipment.
