I hope no one minds me posting this outside the "best places to buy chlorine" thread that is tacked above. Feel free to delete this thread if it isn't good to go. :cool: Just thought I'd pass on some savings where more people can see it.

Lowes Foods (mostly located in NC with a few sprinkled in SC) has generic "Dazzling Bleach" 'concentrated' version at 8.25% on sale for $0.97 per 121-oz jugs. Roughly 9.7-cents per oz. of chorine. Date codes on the jugs I bought were 17-130, which translates to May 10th of 2017. Relatively new.

For <$1 per jug you should be able to stock up, and even if it slowly loses potency over time it's still a good deal.

I tested the concentration last night using a method supplied elsewhere on here, and if I am reading this correctly, it is somewhere between 9-9.5% (I'm sure there's a margin of error in there). I'd say that's pretty good.

Just called my local Lowes Foods and put in a bulk order for 60 gallons.

I put in a call to their corporate office to see if they could do anything for me (find a local store with some in-stock so I don't have to drive all over creation, or find some in a warehouse somewhere I could snag).
