Guys,

Does liquid chlorine consumption over time increase TA?

And if it increases TA does it cause calcium catbonate scale with high PH and high temprature even though cal hypo was not introuduced to the water at all?

Liquid chlorine slowly adds salt. Both calcium and bicarbonate are in the town water supply. Increasing pH increases the CSI. Increasing temperature increases the CSI. A CSI above 0.6 over an extended period increases the risk or likelihood of scale forming.
