Liner lock - to use or not?

Finding conflicting stuff online. Have enough to go all the way around the pool liner track. But reading online I've seen some folks say not to use it unless necessary.

Reason being that if the liner does sag or pop out, you've already used the "fix" to keep it in place and exhausted an option to repair.

I have a few spots that need to be tucked back in. Was then going to do whole pool.

Any suggestions?

Tack in the liner then go around and install the liner loc.

It can be difficult to get the liner loc in.

Make a tool that can be used to tap in the liner loc with a hammer.

Be careful not to cause any damage with the tools.

Once you get the liner securely back in the track, insert the liner lock into the track above the liner in the gap. You might have to use a tool to get it tapped in. In can be difficult.
