My yard is flat and the back yard is lower than the street, clay soil as well. When we have heavy rains, I get standing water in parts of my backyard (not where the pool is planned). I already have a 4' deep pit in my backyard with a sump pump that pumps water out to the street storm drain. I have 2 sump pumps under my house and pvc running from those to this pit. This keeps my crawl space dry even with the heaviest of rains. The heavy rain is seasonal, typically spring. If I dig in the summer or fall I don't hit water, even the 4' deep pit I dug. Do you think putting an AGP 22 inches in the ground would be okay? One installer was concerned with liner float. Would that happen if I had 30 inches above the ground? Could I put a pit with a sump just outside the pool, lower than the bottom of pool, and run pvc to my pit that pumps water to the street? I guess I'd also have to put a french drain around the whole perimeter leading to the pit? Any thoughts on this? Thanks
