I submitted photos and serial number to GLI. 2 out of 4 corners have almost 100% fading above the water line. These two opposing corners receive the most sun (sun set and sunrise) so my PB believes the liner is failing prematurely due to UV exposure with it being a dark liner getting full sunlight spring to fall.
When I called GLI, they said it was under review but that fading is usually considered "chemical" damage that is not warrantable. The final determination has not been made, but she was just saying most fading falls under chemical damage. How could damage ABOVE the water have anything to do with chemicals? There is no damage to the liner where at or below the water line.
SWG pool, balanced water usually around 2ppm chlorine in the midwest.
