My husband and I attempted to put up our above ground pool. We did some leveling, but we definitely weren't prepared. It's interesting how the pool directions are far different than what the internet suggest. We got an intex 15 foot prism frame pool. We are waiting to hear back from a quote for someone to do this professionally so we can enjoy this pool for a summer or two. After research it seems a concrete pad is the easiest. We don't really want to pour a permanent concrete pad in our backyard. I saw that you can get 1 ft concrete paver stones. Could we level/create a concrete pad from that as a better option? Our backyard is at a slight slope. We thought we leveled it to about 2 inches, but once it was full it was about 4-5 inches. We have drained the pool and it's raining all this week so just evaluating all options.
