My husband and I attempted to put up our above ground pool. We did some leveling, but we definitely weren't prepared. It's interesting how the pool directions are far different than what the internet suggest. We got an intex 15 foot prism frame pool. We are waiting to hear back from a quote for someone to do this professionally so we can enjoy this pool for a summer or two. After research it seems a concrete pad is the easiest. We don't really want to pour a permanent concrete pad in our backyard. I saw that you can get 1 ft concrete paver stones. Could we level/create a concrete pad from that as a better option? Our backyard is at a slight slope. We thought we leveled it to about 2 inches, but once it was full it was about 4-5 inches. We have drained the pool and it's raining all this week so just evaluating all options.
Would love all the advice!

You don't need a concrete pad; the pool will do just fine on undisturbed soil. Leveling is the hardest part of the entire build. If it's too much, you could hire out the leveling part. An excavating company can make you a level pad for your pool. You'll then want to put pavers or pressure treated wood under each leg (dig those in to the ground so they are level with the dirt). I have the 15 foot intex prism frame too. If you find the directions aren't very good (I don't know bc I didn't read them when I set up my pool), you can find install videos on youtube. Good luck and hope you find someone to help out!
