Leslie's.....

Brother in law showed me some print-outs from Leslie's after he took some samples to get tested from his pool (freshwater, 20000 gallons). Leslie's recommends his FC to be 1-2 ppm.

IS THIS RIGHT? I have found the TFP chart and the lowest target FC is 4-6 (with CYA at 30). I guess I'm a little shocked (no pun...) at how little FC they recommend.

That is why we recommend people stay out of Leslies.

Their recommendations are different then TFP. Don't try and mix and match.

You should ask Leslie to defend their recommendations with a scientific explanation.

& in their “recommendations” a cya of 100 is no problem! It’s easy to see how this “guidance” would lead to an arduous & expensive path of potions to fix your unsanitary water
