This has been a problem that has gradually gotten worse, at first the pool lights in the pool and spa would function for about an hour or so, then turn off. Then the time went down as months passed, from 30 minutes to 5 minutes. Yesterday the light would turn on and then immediately off, today it no longer turns on. The breaker isn’t being tripped, and the lights don’t run off a gcfi as they are 12v lights, what’s the problem?

How old are the lights?
You pull the light out of its niche and examine its condition?

Haven’t pulled out the lights yet and identified them, I’m fairly sure they aren’t the problem as they were still lighting up to yesterday. However if I had to guess they are about 20 years old, they run off a Intermatic controller.
