Leaves staining pool liner

We have closed our pool for the winter and not covering it for the winter likely.

We have a lot of mature trees around the pool and seem to be staining the bottom. Is there anything we can do to get rid of the staining?

Chlorine will remove organic tannin staining from leaves. Once you open your pool in the Spring higher chlorine levels and spot application of chlorine should clear it up.

Go ahead and try to remove them periodically during the winter, and brush with higher chlorine in spring.

Why aren't you covering the pool? If our pool wasn't covered, I'd just keep netting up the leaves as much as possible.

Elevated chlorine will remove the stains (about double your normal level) but I wouldn't wait 'til Spring......I would do it now
