After losing water for a few weeks, I pressure tested my pool and found a leak at the pool wall. There is 1 1/2 inch black poly pipe that attaches to the wall over a plastic fitting. The black poly was glued on and the fitting is cracked. It looks like it is a reducing fitting that reduces from 1 1/2 inch to 1 1/4 inch to allow the black poly to fit over it. The fitting extends into the wall and from the inside of the pool I can see it extend into the fitting that the eye ball screws into. Problem is I don't know whether this reducing fitting was screwed in or was glued in. It doesn't seem to want to budge. I want to replace it and use 1 1/2 schedule 40 pipe. I know I may need a picture but the inlet is plugged and the pool is running on 1 return line. Difficult to get a picture from inside the pool. Help appreciated. Thx.
