So we've had a small leak from where the inlet pipe is flush against the pump filter housing unit (not sure I'm describing that correctly but added a picture for reference). It's definitely not union threads - my husband unscrewed/checked/retrightened/re-checked....
He used an exterior sealant (Dynaflex Ultra) to caulk around that area and gave it a couple of hours to dry. Restarted the pump and it's still leaking around that area. Didn't know if maybe it needs to dry longer or if there's some other type of sealant we should be using.
Any thoughts?
