Raise by.6. What does that mean?
This means running your SWG running for 12 hours @ 12.5% power will raise the free chlorine level in your pool by 0.6. At this time of year, you want that 0.6 to be 4.0 (ppm of FC daily).

Your first post indicates you run the pump 17 hours per day. Here is a screenshot showing 17 hours @ 60% will raise FC by 3.9 ppm. This is probably a good start.

I'll once again recommend an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to rule out algae.

ok. I read your post 3 times. but i Only run my pump 12 hours a day. So if I understand right IF i ran my pump 17 hours a day, then my SWG should be turned to 60? am I right about that? Just want to make sure I am reading it right. Also, with my old SWG that was undersized for my pool, I never changed the run time. I find this interesting. BUT I am definitely going to do an OCLT to be sure. My FC has never dropped below 3.5 tho....but you never know. Thank you Very much for your patience.

Correct. That would increase FC by 3.9 daily.

Here's the screen shot for 12-hour runtime. 85% will increase FC by 3.9 daily.

Check FC daily and make adjustments to output% to match daily loss. For reference, my pool is in full sun and it's been hot. My daily loss is about 3.5 ppm daily.
