just signed contract 2 days ago and then found this website. Hoping to manage pool by ourselves. Below are the major specs- thoughts?

16'x38' with spa 6'x8'.
Inground gunite.
pebble sheen.
filter- Pentair cartridge 420
Intelliflo VSF
control system- ET4+screen logic
Heater- MasterTemp 400k BTU
Ultra UV2
3 microbrites.

I assume you plan for the lights to be controlled as one, correct?
How do you plan to chlorinate? The UV device does not sanitize your pool water.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

Well for sure you do not need the UV system.. It is basically a way to remove money from your pocket and give it to your pool builder.. It will not provide sanitized water for your pool.

Please make sure the ET-4 that you are getting is not a PSL4 .. The "L" means like as in it tastes like lite salad dressing and comes with very limited set of functions.. It could just be a typo, but you need to get the exact part number they are giving you.
