Just completely re-did my pool

what does it mean when they say they are coming to acid wash the pool before I can fill it up again?

Michelle,

I assume you had your pool re-plastered with some type of pebble product... If so, they acid wash it to eat away a little bit of plaster and expose more of the pebble..

You can't add water until they are done. It is normal for this to be done..
