Hey all - We had some friends over last night and while we were watching the kids jump off the jump rock, we noticed that the top rock was coming loose and would lift up about an inch when people would jump off the front. Any suggestions on how to best re-attach the top rock to the rock below? Pic attached for reference.Jump Rock.jpg

It is not going to be easy removing the stone, putting bonding agent on both stone surfaces, and then mortar between them. It looks like the bottom stone and middle stone has a thicker mortar joint between them then the top stone does.

Another thought is to get metal straps and use anchors and screws on the back of the stone to fasten the back edge of the top stone to the thick middle stone.

The over hanging lever on the front of the stone is strong enough to break whatever bond was put between the stones.

Archimedes said “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world. ”
