Judgement anyone?

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any negative comments over their intex pool? I get the feedback from some like I have bought something subpar or silly.
No complaint here we love our intex. No one has ever made a comment on one of my post that was negative about my pool being intex

Lots and lots of people have and enjoy Intex pools. We've had several over the years. Beware that they make you want to keep buying bigger pools. Lucky for you they sell bigger ones for next time. :)

If it fits your needs, then it's not subpar. Everything has its limitations. I wish I had an inground but couldn't afford it. I got what my budget allowed. To those that judge, who cares... just ignore them. It's probably the same people that only buy a car for its name or $100 jeans. Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy yourself...
Some on this forum have upgraded some of the equipment, if you find that you don't like X or Y about it. Some have added decks.

I don't have one but I think the Intex pool concept is the best thing to happen to outdoor pools in a long time! It gives people so many more options than a conventional in ground or above ground pool. Someone who wants to test drive pool ownership can do so without sinking a bunch of money into it. Some folks really trick out their intex pools and they are very nice! Makes me a little jealous sometimes! My first pool was the intex big bag of water with the inflatable ring. I only had it one year and it drove me nuts, but I still wanted a pool!

It all comes down to water in a container, some people just pay for a much fancier container! Chemically the care is the same.

True lol we started with 10 ft soft pool. Then a 12 or 14 can't remember. Now the 16 ft metal frame one. When this one wears out I want a 22

I think everyone who thinks they wanta pool should start out with something low cost, as a test. Our first pool was a $400 intex, and we got five years out of it. It taught me the proper water chemistry methods, and showed that we will use a pool, and don't have a problem caring for it. If it had gone the other way, and we couldn't care for it or didn't use it, we'll $400 is a fairly inexpensive lesson. I'm putting up a sweet 24' round Wilbar now, so for us the intex was a great introduction. Good luck, take the plunge.

Here's a big bag of water on steroids. Upgraded Pump, solar, heater, propane heater, automated, remote control(even remotely).
We have what we have space for and what we can afford. Guess where all the neighborhood parties end up?20170604_191218.jpg20170604_191128.jpg

Have fun and enjoy what you can afford!

Everyone always comments at how ghetto our pool looks but guess who's pool is always CRYSTAL CLEAR??????? Our ghetto pool. Everyone I try and convert to the BBB method always tells me "oh you can do that because you have a walmart pool" I got it at target but do you honey I'm cool not spending $300 a season on my pool.
