Hi Everyone,

I have an Intellitouch system that has a dedicated pump for my jets in my spa. When I tell the system to call for the pump to turn on, it appears that the circuit is being activated but the pump doesn't actually ramp up. Can anyone point me at what might be the culprit?

Thanks in advance.
Joe

Joe,

Please tell me if the Jet pump is the IntelliFlo that you show in the pic, or a single speed pump?? They are controlled in two different ways..

Show us a pic of the Jet pump..

Thanks,

Jim R.

Joe,

The fact that the pump's display shows "Display not active" means that the automation is talking with the pump, so that is good..

Did you do any programming before this happened?

For the the pump to run you have to be in AUTO
The Jet's Circuit must be selected.. (It looks like it is..)
There has to be a speed assigned to the Jets circuit.. Sometime this speed can be deleted when there is a power glitch, or if the pump type is changed..

Go into your menu and look at pump #2 and make sure a speed is assigned to the Jets circuit.

How old is the pump? If one of the newer VSF pumps, it could have bad FW load..

And... the pump must talk to the automation and the automation must talk to the pump.. Every once in a while we see pumps that will receive info from the automation, but can't talk back..

I assume that your main pump is running ok..

Thanks,

Jim R.
