So I obtained a 2005 watkins jetsetter jq hot tub that needed some repairs. Multiple leaks that I have repaired, some wiring issues that I have fixed and a locked up jet pump. I have replaced the jet pump with a used one that I was assured worked (a wavemaster 7000), I know it's used, but came from someone I trust and believe when they say it works. Everything comes on fine, circulation pump, heater, all lights on the control panel, but still no jets. When I turn on the jets I hear a relay clock and see a red light come on on the control board right above the connection for the jet pump, but the pump does not kick on. Obviously the pump could be bad(since it was used) but also I am running this off of an existing 110v outlet. Could it be possible there is not enough volts on this circuit to power the pump? Should I run a dedicated circuit for the tub? Or Is there something else I could look into before ordering a new pump? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!
