That is one way to cool your pool water......a $3199.00 way, but should work if your nights are cool.
85K gallons? Did you upgrade your pool?

Hahah. Moved so not my pool. HOA pool just wondering if the $3.5k will be effective or not.

Probably will work. Where is the pool, what is the current water temp and what are the night time air temps?
You may be able to rig up something utilizing the existing pool pump and some creative PVC plumbing with valves.

Might want to consider something like a Glacier chiller. I have one and it works great, even in the humidity of the Dallas area.

A lot of heat pumps will also cool the water in addition to simply heating the water.
