Jet balls!

Hi,

the jets balls in a swimming pool, when the bezel is tightened the ball inside doesn't move. When it is loosened, the ball moves.

what is the proper way to keep the equipment running. Does the bezel have to be tightened so the ball doesn't move, or does the bezel need to be slightly loose for the ball to be able to move around?

Most people move the eyeball to point where they want, and then lock it into position. Usually use the eyeballs to cause the water to swirl in one direction or another, like a toilet bowel only slower.

The idea being to enhance the skimmer action.
