Hello,

My Jandy 2.7Hp VS Flopro seems to have died. It's only about 4 years old. I verified I've got 240V to the pump but the controller (iQPUMP01) is dead. I also verified the impeller spins. I haven't had any issues with the pump up until now. Any suggestions on what else to check? I'm hoping it's not the motor but all things are seeming to point that direction. Thanks

Check the wiring between the IQPUMP01 box and the pump. Maybe a rodent chewed on the wires or someone kicked it loose.

It could be the IQPUMP01 that is bad and not the pump.

Jandy does not give much diagnostics to figure out where the problem is. They want you to contact a Jandy dealer.

Thanks Allen. Wiring looks good and I made sure terminals for the data cable were tight. Is there anyway to bypass the iQPUMP01 controller, bypass the controller all together to try and turn the pump on? Was wondering if I could just jumper the terminals at the pump? Man, very disappointing that the pump fails after just 4 years. Thanks again.

Chuck

Rumor has it that there is some jumpers to run the Jandy pump but I have never seen it.

This is one of the things I don’t like about Jandy headless pumps.
