Good evening,
I have an eight month old 2.7hp Jandy Versa Flo controlled by a Jandy IQPump01. Recently, the pump has stopped for unknown reasons at times not associated with the programmed schedule changes. No issues in the prior eight months with pump. No changes in schedule programming. No changes in house electrical system. Firmware up to date. The app will show a program being commanded but 0 rpm/0 watts when not running. At some undetermined point, the pump will start running again. Jandy tech support couldn’t find anything and sent installer out. Installer measured 250VAC at the pump, which is apparently the upper range limit for the 230V pump. They did not detect an over voltage (above 250V) while here. They believe that 250VAC is causing the pump to shutdown and suggest I put the machine on a 110V breaker and run that way. I believe that you would still have an over voltage on 110V (220/110 doesn’t matter for voltage regulation/dirty electricity when it’s the same source) and ultimately don’t think this is the issue though I concede that it is a possibility. Also, I don’t want to run pump on 110VAC.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!
