My Jandy Truclear35p works great - but over the years the display has been damaged by direct sunlight - it just got dimmer, and dimmer, until I could read it with a flashlight, until now I can’t see anything.

Call Jandy Support and see if they will tell you what part will replace the display.
You can open the box and check the ribbon cable to the display in case it has a poor connection. Be careful opening the cover as the ribbon cable is short.

You might as well get the whole power pack (R0802200) rather than buy the expensive front panel.
