Update. I went with the AquaPure PLC1400. So far so good. I started at 25% and then lowered it to 15%. I run the pool heater a lot so it was working too well.

I have it and so far it's been great. I have it on 17.6k gallon pool so I have plenty of cushion yours is much closer 40k capacity on 35k pool. I wonder if you can use two of them to have a major cushion vs running that one at almost a 100% for that size of pool?Jandy’s AquaPure (Model PLC1400) connected to your Aqualink. It is a more robust system then the TruClear.
