Jandy Model LJ Gas Pool Water Heater panel

Daughter has an old (10+ years) Jandy Model LJ Gas heater and the display panel can't be read due to sunshine/fading. It does work but not seeing the display really makes it difficult to operate.
A new panel is ~ $325. Any knowledge on how hard to replace it and if worth it in your opinion?

Depends on the condition of the rest of the heater.

How much rust or corrosion is there inside the heater.

Post pics showing the heater insides if you want comments.

To close the loop, she bought the new display panel and the install was all of 5 minutes. Take out the four screws, unplug ribbon cable, and plug in the new one.
Worked like a charm.
Now, to see how long everything else works...

Where were you able to locate the replacement panel? I’ve looked everywhere and the one I could find was $450
