Jandy JXI ng heaters

Would anyone happen to know if the jandy JXI heater has a built in regulator or does the heater need an external regulator? I believe the water column needs to be between 4 and 10

I doubt it as the manual doesn't show one. The gas valve is the first thing it shows and it's not in the picture.

Gas pressure is regulated outside the heater, not a function of the heater.
