Jandy JXi heater with Hayward Omnihub mystery

Works fine without automation.
In RTSTAT mode, always on regardless of setting on the Omnihub.

If I pull the wires from the Omnihub and just manually touch them together or pull them apart, the heater turns on/off properly.

If I leave the wires connected to the Omnihub and use a multimeter, I can verify that the relay is opening/closing properly.

So, individually the pieces are doing what they are supposed to do. But connected together, they don't work.

I am using the setup indicated in section 7.2 (RTSTAT) and everything is setup as per the instructions.

I am not sure what is supposed to be output on the fireman's terminals, but when you turn the heat on, what reading are you getting with the multimeter?

It sounds like the problem is in the OmniPL Configuration and not the JXI heater.

I believe the OmniHub is configured properly. Multimeter shows the contact is closing when I set the thermostat above the water temperature and the contact opens when I set the thermostat below the water temperature. Seems to be working properly.

The 2 wires you ran from the OmniThing to the JXI. What is the reading on them when the heat is on? What is it when the heat is off?
