Jandy XLi heater that has worked great for 4 years since pool build. Starting the heater for first time in months the heater will not turn on when using my handheld remoteI/aqualink app OR even the control panel. Wont turn on pool or spa heat
Whole system is jandy It all connects perfectly to the app and handheld remote. All other system features and functions seem to be working well. Recently replaced saltwater generator
The app says standby when we turn heat on When heat is off it says enabled The heater screen says T-Stat remote enabled.
heater water temp shows 74 while temp we requested is set to 84 pool/101 spa
-App doesn't show a water temp and neither does handheld
-app and handheld show we requested 84 degrees but heater shows we requested 82 not sure what that means?
-The red indicator light on the breaker/control panel will not come on, but there is clearly power to the unit since screen is lit up
I don't see any wires missing in box
I followed the wire from the heater to the control box there's no fraying or cut parts like you might see with a rodent problem
I believe it must be something simple, but I am stuck, and can’t figure out how to get the heater to come on.
Any chance gas is turned off to it (maybe my kids did without thinking)?
Does anyone have any advice? I've scoured this forum and google extensively. Thanks!
