Replaced water temperature sensor but service panel still says open. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Swap the water temperature sensor and the air temperature sensor and see if the problem moves or stays.

I’ve replaced the water temperature sensor and it’s still not recognizing it. The control panel inside says water sensor opened. Does anyone have any suggestions what else this could be? Please help.

It could be a bad board, a defective replacement sensor, or incorrect wiring connections.
