Looking for the antenna for my Jandy handheld AquaPalm control unit. Purchased an antenna from Amazom but it did not work. Please see attachments.

Thanks,
Sonny

Trying to find parts for a Jandy system that is 20 years old will be very difficult and a waste of money. Even techs at the Fluidra factory would be hard pressed to provide any kind of support for a system that old. With Jandy you have to match software, software revisions, and more to get the correct part. Sooner or later you are going to have to update your pump and would find that old system would not work with it. While the antennas/J-box are listed on some sites, the prices are quite high ($450 - $600, its Jandy, after all) and they probably don't really have the part in stock anyway.

That's definitely a very early PDA setup. They moved to the more "modern" diamond shaped J-boxes not long after that, and I agree you'd probably be hard pressed to figure out what works correctly with your particular board and firmware revision. Jandy, of course, documents none of this. The pool builders that know don't share their secrets.

I ended up just removing my whole PDA setup because I couldn't figure out which parts I needed and I wasn't dumping tons of money into it. At least I can control the system again now and change programming. If you're truly sold on the PDA idea, you may be able to find a complete used "modern" PDA setup (PCB, J-box, and PDA) for relatively cheap if you look on fleabay long enough.
