Feb 19th update, New Build in Tampa - Travertine Paver Deck & Solar (Partially Installed)

USF-we just had shotcrete done a month ago. We are in Pinellas County. Mine looked just like yours, maybe even worse. Tile and coping was done last week and the tile guy took almost a day going around and leveling the top with concrete/thinset. He basically created another layer that was perfectly smooth and level before installing the travertine paver coping. It now looks amazing. He did the same for the tile band around the pool. We have a 6" glass tile band and he smoothed everything out before installing. So you will be good and they will fix all the rough places. We are waiting for the Pebble Tec to be scheduled and installed and I was told that they will smooth out the other rough areas. I attached a picture and you can see the white thinset that was used to level the tile and the coping.

Today the pipes were installed. The gauge reads 45, hopefully that is what it should read.

I believe the pipe in the 2nd pic is for the bubbler.

I have no clue what the pipe sticking straight up is in the 3rd pic, can someone enlighten me please.

In the last pic there is a pipe going into the ground, maybe it's for the light, not sure about this one either.

Dow a tiny bit in PSI since last night. Assuming that is normal but what should I be looking for to see if there are any issues?

It's normal. Compressed air is warm when it goes in. As it cools down to outside air temp the pressure will drop a little with it.

Oh ok. I saw where a line had been hit while digging. Didn't realize that it went right through the pool. I was just surprised that they would cement around the line with it in place like that. I would have thought moving it first would have been the way to go.

They showed up to shoot gunite within a few days after dig. It wasn't enough time for me to have rerouted (has been done). They also didn't want to remove it as they were afraid the dirt might collapse if removed prior to gunite being shot.

Go Bucs!!!

Any thoughts on what you see with the setup?
