Issue with pool wall

At the end of last season, we noticed an issue with our pool wall. The pool was installed in June 2022 by a professional.

I contacted the pool store this spring to ask about the wall and I got a reply that “ it should be ok”. They didn’t come out to see it, just looked at the pictures I sent them. Keep in mind that there is a 1 year warranty on the pool installation.

We live in a rural area and there’s only this one pool store/installer so I can’t really ask for a second opinion.

What should we do?

We hear that all the time, and many times it doesn't amount to much. In your case, I believe you have every right to be concerned. Not only does the vertical support post seem to be slipping off the base, but the bottom of the pool and/or rail seem to be buckling. Really doesn't look stable to me in those photos. Let's see what others have to say.

I would call them back & tell them you want it repaired.
Buckling like that is usually caused by a high spot - the paver for that upright is suspect #1.
Can you take a picture of the whole thing so we can see the top rails too? Do they appear to be off/un level?

That's a high spot. Even if you tear the whole pool down n fix the high spot, the wall is not going to straighten out.

Im not home to take a picture, but the water is leveled when the pool is filled.

The upright nearest the pump looks askew but it could just be the angle of the picture. As Casey said- even if they fix the cause (most likely a high spot) the wall is buckling. They need to replace the pool wall after fixing the problem. I am sure they don’t want to have to basically replace your entire pool but that’s what it requires (wall + liner).
You will need to be firm with them & open a claim/ repair order asap. Be polite but let them know you want this resolved & are aware of what’s involved. No one is perfect all the time, mistakes happen especially when building things, you are giving them the opportunity to make it right. Hopefully they will take care of you.
