ISO Recco for a new pool cleaner

I need a new pool robot.

Pool is a 16K gal gunite with attached spa, chlorine based, Jandy LXi400 propane heater. 5' depth, several steps at the shallow and a sitting ledge on the deep side.
Pool used May-Sept & closed for the winter. Hartford CT area.
Have a lot of trees around the pool, broad leaf and pine needles.
I'm not sold on cordless, thinking it may be a pain to recharge? I usually just keep the robot in the pool and turn on frequently. (There is always something the pool.)

Buying this week. Recco's appreciated.

I do not. I have a Maytronics Active20. In its 8th year of operation. But the more recent Maytronics (post Covid) seem to last at best 3-5 years.

3-5 year is pretty lousy. My dolphin was old when we bought the house and it lasted another 6 years.

Indeed. Just like water heaters. Why does an oil burning furnace last 25-30 years, but a water heater pops like clockwork and 10-12 years.
