Is your pool visible from orbit?

How long after you finished your pool was your pool visible in the GoogleEarth map view of your house? Mine is not but it was just finished. All of my neighbors are accept one brand new start.

Google has not updated my neighborhood for at least 4, maybe 5 years...

Not sure if there are other places I should be looking...

From orbit? Sorry, but “satellite” views on consumer mapping sites are just aerial photography.

Jim, You can check Bing also.

For my house Bing is at least 3 years old. Google looks to be just before they started because all I can see is the silt fence (May of 2016).

The pics have been updated Aug/2010, Oct/2014 & Feb/2017.

It seems like Google updates my area often...

February - we moved into our brand new house - just the lot showed up in the aerial view.
April - house showed up.
August - outline of pool build showed up - build started in May and completed in August.
October - pool showed up.

Hopefully, we finish our backyard landscaping before Google does another round of photography... right now, our pool is surrounded by dirt.

Google street view hasn't updated my home since before I purchased it 4.5 years ago, so I would say they are way overdue. The google Earth satellite view is a little more up to date, only about 3 years old. However, since my pool build just started 5 months ago, there's nothing to see. But no rush...still working on the composite deck and landscaping.
